We are a small, high-performing team specialising in:
- policy
- data
- health
- law-enforcement.
We strive to create a healthier and safer Australia free from illicit tobacco and e-cigarettes (ITEC). The team was established in 2024 to drive whole-of-government action against the ITEC market. Through developing evidence-based policy and forging strong cross-agency relationships, we seek to:
- reduce public health risks
- uphold regulatory integrity
- minimise social and economic harm.
We work closely with all levels of government to shape a focused and coordinated national response to the ITEC market.
Our Culture
Our strength lies in our people. We know that diversity of thought, background, skills and experience are all critical to finding solutions to the growth of the ITEC market. We encourage our staff of all job-titles and levels to:
- share their thoughts
- bring their authentic selves to work
- challenge the status-quo.
This team has a strong sense of purpose and commitment to public value.
What we can offer you
We offer exceptional roles for exceptional people. You can make a tangible difference tackling complex, topical issues. You will get a competitive salary and benefits under the Department of Home Affairs Enterprise Agreement.
